Welcome to the home of the Antigo Fillies! The Antigo Fillies; founded in 2007, merged with the Antigo Softball Association in 2014. Together they promote and support organized softball for girls in the Antigo community. We offer organized softball for girls ages 5-17 weekly in what we call City League and traveling teams as well that participate in tournaments throughout the summer.
Fillies FASTPITCH MISSION STATEMENT The Fillies are an independent, non-profit (501((c))3) organization committed to providing all girls with an experience that builds self-esteem and self-confidence, while encouraging leadership. In doing so it teaches team spirit and individual growth through personal achievement and team play.
Our goal is for each player to have fun while gaining knowledge of the game. We strive to create and maintain an environment of teamwork, honesty and fair play with a secondary importance placed on winning. The Antigo Fillies do understand that youth sports experience is different for everyone, but our primary goal is and always has been for the benefit of the children. By promoting the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Fillies Fastpitch program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes. We also recognize that today's softball players will be tomorrow's leaders.
The Fillies purpose is to keep the girls coming back by making their youth experience as fun, enjoyable and memorable as possible. As they get older and the rules change we prepare them for the competitiveness of High School Softball.
Volunteers will always be at the heart and soul of Fillies Fastpitch. Please help out our organization by becoming an active volunteer. Nothing is more vital to our organization than the volunteer.
